Brief project description:
The GREENSMES project addresses the challenge of promoting green innovation in business within the IPA ADRION territory, aiming to strengthen innovation capacities through transnational synergies of the quadruple helix. The project supports the green transition, clean technologies, SME development, skills enhancement, innovation ecosystem building, and rural development. Through knowledge exchange among partner regions and capacity building for SMEs, the project contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals and impactful investments in green innovations. Its outcomes include a strategy for improved cooperation between the R&D sector and the business community, as well as an action plan for the transfer and replication of activities
Project's main objective:
The GREENSMES project will develop and implement a set of interrelated actions in order to address the triple objective of:
- enhancing awareness and transnational cooperation on green innovation
- reducing innovation gaps, transferring improved technology and up-taking new technologies to support SMEs
- increasing knowledge and capacity of the stakeholders in the area.
