Project goal:
To strengthen the capacities of CSOs in Zadar County to achieve a higher level of self-sustainability and resilience in crises, to strengthen cooperation between the civil and public sectors in building greater community resilience to crisis situations, and to improve the competencies of employees, volunteers and members of CSOs for volunteering and online organization of volunteering.
Expected results of the project:
The capacities of civil society organizations in Zadar County will be strengthened to achieve a higher level of self-sustainability and resilience in crises. This will be achieved through the participation of associations in the workshops "Association: seize the opportunity, volunteer, get employed, contribute", as well as through the implementation of a mentoring program for adapting CSOs as employers for online business and organizing remote work for the project's partner associations , and equally by participating in workshops that will improve the competence of employees, volunteers and CSO members for volunteering and online organization of volunteering, as well as ad hoc volunteering. A network of nature protection volunteers will be established, and a B.ready camp will be held - training for members and volunteers of CSOs and interested citizens to acquire basic survival skills in nature and other crisis situations. Initiatives of Zadar County associations for good governance will be established.
The main activities of the project:
- cycle of educational workshops "Association: seize the opportunity, volunteer, get a job, contribute"
-implemented mentoring program for adaptation of CSOs as employers for online business and organizing remote work
-establishment of the Network of Nature Protection Volunteers
-workshop "Management of volunteers through online tools"
-workshop "Establishment of a volunteer network and organization of ad hoc volunteering"
-B.ready camp – education of citizens to acquire basic survival skills in nature and in other crisis situations
-establishment of the Zadar County Association Initiative for Good Governance
Target groups of the project: civil society organizations
The end users of the project are all members of associations who will participate in capacity building activities relevant to their area of work, future CSO employees who will have the opportunity to work in associations on projects relevant to local needs, volunteers in the area of Zadar County, as well as the entire local community which will get a strengthened civil scene, which will be a source of new employment, solving current community needs and a quality partner in solving community crisis problems.

Total value of the project: HRK 479,655.01 (EU co-financing is 85%, i.e. HRK 407,706.76)
